Rules

To ensure you have the best possible experience at our campground, please familiarize yourself with the following rules and regulations as a guest.

The guest is responsible for all members of their group and their guests in observing the regulations.

The management of Camping Héron Bleu specifically reserves the right to expel any person with their group of clients who does not comply with the regulations or who, at its sole discretion, is deemed undesirable, without refund or compensation of any kind or other notice.

 

Hours:

 

The reception desk is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day. Check-in time for campsites is at 1:00 p.m. and check-out time is at noon. For ready-to-camp accommodations and rental trailers, check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

 

Early Arrival:

 

An additional fee will be applied for arrivals more than one hour before the time indicated in the reservation, at a rate of $10 per hour. Site accessibility is not guaranteed.

 

Extended Stay:

 

On the day of departure, it is possible to have an extended stay until 5:00 p.m. for those who have rented a campsite for an additional fee of $15 plus taxes if site availability permits. Extended stay is not offered for those staying in ready-to-camp accommodations (cabin or safari tent) or renting one of our trailers.

Visitors:

 

Visitors must leave their vehicle in the parking lot at the reception.

 

Ensure that your visitors are aware of and comply with the campground rules. Each guest is responsible for their visitors.

 

Curfew and Quiet Hours:

 

At all times, guests must avoid making noise during the curfew period, which is between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. from Sunday to Friday and between midnight and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. During this period, no noise that may be heard by neighboring sites is allowed.

 

A curfew also applies to the children's park at the entrance of the campground starting at 9:00 p.m., as well as all common areas.

 

Pets:

 

Pets are welcome. We even have a dog park! However, here are some rules to follow:

 

Dogs are not allowed in common areas (bingo hall, laundry room, pool, public toilets, etc.)

Dogs cannot be left unattended and must be kept on a leash at all times, even on your site.

 

A maximum of 2 pets per site is allowed. The owner must immediately pick up their pet's waste anywhere on the grounds.

Do not let your dog disturb the rest of other campers and do not allow it to roam on neighboring sites.

 

No aggressive animals are tolerated on the premises.

Pets are not allowed in the ready-to-camp accommodations and rental trailers except for cabin #2 and trailer #94.

 

Traffic:

 

The maximum permitted speed for vehicles, karts, scooters, bicycles, or other means of transport in the campground is 10 km/h. During the curfew period, traffic must be kept to a minimum.

 

Only those aged 16 and over can drive a golf cart, except for those aged 14 and over who have a valid driver's license for their scooter, with proof provided. However, they must drive alone or with a person aged 16 and over.

 

The golf cart must have a maximum of 4 people, with 2 people in the front and 2 people in the back. A rear bench is mandatory for passengers.

 

It is strictly forbidden to ride motorcycles, mopeds, or other gas-powered vehicles except to reach your site and without noise. Access by motorcycle is prohibited after 9:00 p.m. Riding ATVs is prohibited, except for vehicles belonging to Camping Héron Bleu.

 

Bicycles must be stored from 9:00 p.m. every night.

 

Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. The police will be called if a driver is seen intoxicated.

 

Parking:

 

The customer must park their car on their site and cannot use vacant sites. A maximum of 2 vehicles per site is allowed. Parking along roads, playgrounds, or any other area not designated for this purpose is prohibited.

 

Magnetic Card:

 

Upon arrival, you will be given a magnetic card to open the barrier at no charge. You must return it to us upon your departure, otherwise a fee of $50 will apply.

 

Water Facilities:

 

The pools are open from June to Labor Day. They are open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The schedule and access may change without notice. Please note that our pools are unsupervised. Children under 12 and those swimming with floatation devices must be accompanied and under the constant supervision of a responsible adult who must be present inside the pool area. We reserve the right to close the pool due to inclement weather (wind, heavy rain, thunderstorm, lightning, etc.).

 

The foam slide is open from June to Labor Day. Children under 12 must be accompanied and under the constant supervision of a responsible adult when using the water/foam slide.

 

WIFI:

We offer free wireless internet. You must have your own equipment. A password will be provided to you. The internet service is basic. Streaming is blocked (Netflix, YouTube, online games, etc.).

 

Camping Héron Bleu cannot be held responsible for service interruptions or malfunctions related to this service, regardless of the length of time the service is non-functional, and no compensation or refund can be claimed.

 

Respect for Spaces and the Environment:

 

Campfires are only allowed in designated areas and must be extinguished before bedtime. They must be supervised by a responsible person at all times. It is prohibited to move the fire rings. Burning waste in fires or leaving waste in fire rings is prohibited. Minimum fees of $50 + tax will be applied for restoring the site by moving fire rings.

 

Only geothermal mats are tolerated.

 

Garbage and recycling must be deposited in the containers provided for this purpose and must not be left in the fire or burned. You will find containers and bins for this purpose at the campground exit.

 

Minimum fees of $50 + tax will be applied for occupants of ready-to-camp accommodations and rental trailers who do not dispose of and/or empty their garbage, recycling, compost, and cans properly in the containers and bins provided at the campground exit.

 

Our enjoyment of sharing the premises and keeping them in good condition is everyone's business.

 

Smoking is prohibited in the ready-to-camp units and rental trailers.

 

Cigarette/Cannabis (Recreational or Medicinal):

Smoking is prohibited in the following areas and within a 9-meter radius of these facilities: playground, mini-golf, jumpai, inflatables, foam slide, pools, reception, sanitary facilities, bingo hall, or other common areas.

 

Smoking is prohibited in the ready-to-camp units and rental trailers.

 

Cigarette butts must not be thrown on the ground, roads, in water points, parking lots, or in the forest.

 

Limited cannabis smoking is allowed in your equipment or on your personal site, in a location not visible to passersby or other tenants. No odor that may be detected from neighboring sites or the street is allowed.

 

Smoking is prohibited in all areas mentioned in the "cigarettes" section. Additionally, smoking will be prohibited in all areas within the perimeter of the campground (roads, forest, etc.).

 

Driving a vehicle or golf cart under the influence of drugs will result in the expulsion of the client group.

Insurance and Damages:

 

The customer must hold and maintain in force throughout the rental period an insurance policy covering all of their property and liability.

 

Camping Héron Bleu cannot be held responsible for any damages caused to the customer or their property, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional fault.

 

The customer will be personally responsible for any damages caused to the campground's property by them, the members of the client group, or their guests.

 

Prohibited:

• Killing, capturing, injuring, feeding, or taming an animal;

• Discarding waste anywhere other than in the designated containers or burning waste in the campfire;

• Cutting, damaging, removing, or attaching a rope to a tree, shrub, or herbaceous plant, or any part thereof, for    any reason (e.g., clothesline);

• Moving campfire sites (fees will apply);

• Leaving dishes or food lying around;

• Bringing glass containers out of your campsite or into buildings, sanitary blocks, water facilities, or playgrounds;

• Washing cars and trucks;

• It is STRICTLY PROHIBITED to set off fireworks on the campground under penalty of expulsion without                reimbursement;

• Using drones;

• Bringing slingshots, air rifles, or any weapons of any kind.

 

A person who violates these regulations may be expelled immediately, without refund or further notice.

 

Ethics and Responsibilities

 

Parents are responsible for the actions of their children and the children in their care. The safety of your children comes first from you. Ensure they know how to use the games, facilities, etc. Do not leave them alone. Acts of damage or vandalism to camping equipment or infrastructure will be charged to the perpetrator or their parents.

No verbal abuse, aggression, or any form of intimidation towards campground employees or between tenants, visitors, or others will be tolerated.

 

For any requests, suggestions, or comments, please address them to the reception, and the responsible person will forward them to the appropriate person as soon as possible. Out of respect for the managers and their privacy, please do not approach their site directly.
